Nottingham is famous for Robin Hood and there is a Robin Hood festival on that weekend. This takes place in the castle and the entry fee is included in the ticket price.
There will be medieval displays of archery (which you can also take part in), jousting, craft fairs, demonstrations of medieval weapons, a birds of prey display and much more.
