The area of North Wales is famous for lakes, mountains and castles and we will see plenty of all of these on this trip. On the Saturday we explore Llandudno, where we'll be staying both nights. We can see the pier, take the tram up to the top of the Great Orme mountain and do an evening walk from the West Shore Beach to the main Promenade. On day 2, we take the train to Betws-y-Coed with a visit to the Swallow Falls waterfall. Finally, on day 3 we go into Conwy, with its magnificent castle, the smallest house in Great Britain and the medieval walls that go round most of the town.
