Brighton’s attractions:

  • Royal Pavillion
  • The pier
  • The beach
  • Sea life centre
  • The Lanes (antique shops)

Brighton is one of the most popular seaside towns in England. It is one of the closest to London with very good train links into Victoria Station. Students will be able to enjoy the beach with all the usual attractions of a seaside town, as well as a Sea Life Centre and very attractive shopping area called “The Lanes”. There is one landmark that stands out in the city and that is the Royal Pavilion, the royal palace built for King George IV when he was Prince of Wales. The design has influences of Indian architecture, which gives it an unusual oriental appearance.
