We travel by train to visit Chichester, a town that was important in Roman times in the first century AD and still has some Roman remains today. After a guided walk, you will have free time to explore the city by yourselves.

Arundel is a town close by that became important during the Norman period in the 11th century. The castle dominates the town and there is a medieval festival the weekend we visit. Entry is not included in the ticket price.

There is an optional walk around Arundel later in the afternoon.
