Lille is a town in the north of France very close to the Belgian border. In the past it was a part of Flanders (an area of Belgium) and this can be seen in the architecture, which is a mixture of French and Flemish styles. Lille was European Capital of Culture in 2004 and it's alovely town to spend a day in. Whether you spend your time walking around and taking in the beautiful buildings, shopping in the market or enjoying a French lunch in one of the many restaurants, you're sure to have a great time We meet the coach at Ealing Broadway or Shepherd's Bush, travel to Dover, take the ferry to Calais then drive for about an hour to Lille.
