Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and the second biggest city after Glasgow. The two main attractions are the Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, which is still used by the Queen as an official residence. These two buildings are linked by the Royal Mile, a road that contains shops, museums and also St. Giles Cathedral.
